Simple Start is made from birch. It is a hardwood that lights fast and burns hot, making it the perfect choice as a firewood kindling.

Do you use any chemicals or additives?

No! Unlike many firestarters and kindling products on the market, we do not add anything to our kindling. We only use high temperature heat after drying before packing. No wax - no chemicals - no glue - no mineral oil - no resin - no mystery additives
